The Mercedes swirved a bit, and Frank drove a little faster. I saw him getting nervous, he made a turn and his wheels slipped ever so slightly. I smiled, all the while concentrating on my own driving, because I didn't want to end up in a wreck myself. I hit the gas again and took him over. I wanted to guide him out of the city, to a more quiet road, where we could end this unnoticed. The road we were on was a straight line out of the city. We drover faster and faster, and I hoped he wouldn't take a turn. I let go of the gas and went to drive behind him. If he tried anything, I'd just bump my car into his. But we drove fast and before I knew it, we'd left the city.

I pushed Frank a couple of times to make him turn left and then right, and we found ourselves on a small road into a forest. I fell back again to drive behind him and drove faster, hit his bumper, I heard the metal scrape and squeek. But I had to be careful, I couldn't get into a spin and loose control. I might actually die. I tried to make Frank crazy, make him annoyed and scared. I thought it worked, he kept looking over his shoulder and it looked like he cursed a lot.

Suddenly, there was a small road to the right. Frank tried to slow down, I saw the taillights light up, he turned his wheel, but his speed was too great. His car started to slide a little, and then Frank looked at me with a pale, wide-eyed face. He frantically pulled his steeringwheel, the car raced across the the road, but his turn was way too wide. He drove into the grass and bushes, mud got thrusted into the air and his car jumped and jerked. I hit my brakes and stopped the car right away.

In just a few seconds it was over. The were huge pine trees standing on both sides of the road. They were silent barriers, as sterdy as could be. The bang was quite impressive. Glass shattered and the front of his car just exploded in a mass of demolished metal. Breathing fast I got out of the car. The tree was moaning and swaying like a gospel singer. When I got closer I saw Frank hunched over the wheel. His face was all bloody and there couldn't be much left of his legs, because his car had shrunk to a third of its original size. He wasn't moving, and blood dripped of his lips.

The adrenaline made me shiver and I felt cold. The wind blew my hair around my face, I felt lonely and empty. Suddenly, I saw myself standing there from way up high, next to the demolished car, the liveless body of Frank, the empty road winding away into the distance. There was no purpose, there was no God. Life sucked. And I didn't know what to do about it. I felt hopeless.
