Valium To The Rescue

I spent so much time on the internet, that I didn't know which medicine or drug would be the best. But I decided that I needed to pick just one, and that the easiest would be the best. I went to sleep at 3 A.M., but before that I made sure Frank would'nt be able to get away.

The next day I drove to the pharmacist and got me some Valium. It's not that hard to lie to your doctor, so it seems. Valium would keep Frank calm and relaxed, reduce anxiety and make him sleep easier. He could use all of that if he was to stay with me, I thought. The doctor had given me some pills in a jar. When I got home, Frank had woken up, very angry that I'd tied him up again.

“Mandy, untie these ropes right away!” He yelled. He looked like a very poor soul, his arms tied to his back and lying against the couch, because the rope was slung around the leg of the couch to prevent him from moving around too much.
“No, can't do that.” I answered shortly, and went to the kitchen. There I made Frank some porridge, and I pulverized the Valium, which I mixed through it. I presented the meal to Frank, and he gave me a indignent look.
“I won't eat that. I'll eat nothing that you made. You'll just have to let me go. You can't keep doing this, Mandy.”
“Yes, I can. Eat it, or you'll starve.”
“Of course I won't starve. Your parents will be home soon, and then I can't be lying here tied to the couch.” Frank yanked the ropes, but they were strong with solid knots.
“I'll just drive you home Frank. Eat this, it's good for you.”
“Right, and what did you put in it?” I stared at him for a while, thinking about what I would say to him.
“I put Valium in it. You did it yourself, Frank. If you hadn't put up such a fight, but did what you're meant to do, I wouldn't have to drug you.”
“There's some solid reasoning. Of course, I just have to obey you! Sure, why not get killed every day.” His mouth became a somber line in his face, and he looked away.
“You could try it for a while, you never even really tried it.” I said in a sad voice.
